8/25/09 - I want to let all my Kinetic Koffee customers, dealers and fans know we'll be cutting back our days of operation for awhile.  I was to undergo some minimally invasive back surgery last week that became something bigger.  My doctor had orginally said that recovery would only be a few days, but with the extent of the damage, it will be a significantly longer time before I am back to 100%. 

08/17/09 - Kinetic Koffee World HQ will be closed the week of August 17 through 21.  We will be checking phone and e-mail during this time, so if you need something, please leave a message and we will rspond as quickly as possible. 

See you on the 24th!

08/14/09 - Marye Audet has finished her review of our French Konnexion on her website.  She liked it too!  Here is an excerpt (by the way, I love the way she writes!):

"Very smooth, slightly smoky. Not burnt, mind you, but a nice smokiness like if you were drinking coffee in front of a campfire in the early morning, with a couple of trout fryin’ in the pan along with your bacon. That kind of smoky."

08/11/09 - Marye Audet of Kettle & Cup on BlissTree.com just published a review of our Morning Mayhem and I think she liked it.  Here's an excerpt:

 "This is a rich, dark Italian roast. The beans are a blend of Central and South American beans and the flavor is fantastic.

08/08/09 - We've finally updated the Coffee page with our new labels.  If you haven't ordered any coffee in the past few months, go here to check them out.  I think you'll agree that the artwork, by local artist Lush Newton, is a vast improvement!  Don't worry, though.  The coffee remains the same...

08/07/09 - Kinetic Koffee is now listed on Yelp.com.  If you'd like to review our coffees, head on over to http://www.yelp.com/biz/kinetic-koffee-company-arcata and let us know what you think!

8/1/09 - It has been brought to my attention by one of our customers that the shopping cart is overcharging for freight when 3 or more bags of coffee are being ordered.  We are working to resolve the issue.  In the meantime, please call us at 877-825-9417 to place your order if you wish to order 3 or more bags at a time.  If you prefer to order on line, please make sure to put your phone number on the order, so I can refund the difference.

07/16/09 - VeloNews Magazine has a cupping comparison of a number of cycling-oriented coffees in the August edition, with expanded coverage on their website. Although I have reservations about the scoring and specifically the overall scores(the coffees were cupped by both coffee experts and cyclists), our coffees came out well, with the Kama Sumatra being a favorite of the Marketing Manager of the coffee shop where the tasting was held.

7/15/09 - Kinetic Koffee has been running commercials on the local radio station All Hits 95.5 since last month.  They also asked me to do a two minute interview that has been getting airplay, regarding their "Local Motion" program.  Check them out!

06/17/09 - I just received the August issue of Road Bike Action Magazine.  There's a nice picture of the Kinetic Koffee booth at the Sea Otter Classic with a nice caption about yours truly.  Check it out if you have the chance!
