June/July Special Roast
6/15/09 - This month's Special Roast is from the country that produces the most coffee in the world - Brazil. Of course, most Brazilian coffees are of the Robusta variety, a less expensive, less flavorful coffee than the Arabica that Kinetic Koffee uses exclusively.

5/07/09 - This month's Special Roast is indeed special! It's our 6th anniversary as a company and it's the 40th anniversary of our namesake, the Kinetic Grand Championship! Of course, we are a sponsor of the event again this year. To commemorate these two events, we have selected a truly unique coffee from Ethiopia. The Lekempti is a shade grown organic Arabica coffee grown in the highlands of Ethiopia above 5400 feet in elevation. I

4/24/09 - Now that I have caught up again, here is a brief report on our trip to the Sea Otter Classic last week.
One thing that you can count on at Sea Otter is the weather - it will always be a challenge! This year started out with extreme winds, keeping us from even setting up the tent when we arrived. Then the winds died and the place became an oven for this Humboldt County boy. Temps topped out on Sunday in the upper 80's (I even heard of temps in the 90's on the race course!).
